Treated me like a child

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
When calling with a complaint about a mattress, hoping to get Frontroom to stand beside the furniture they sell, I was made to feel like a child, over voicemail, by the service supervisor. The mattress is a $3000 dollar mattress that my significant other cannot sleep on because of the back and neck pain it causes him. He sleeps on the sofa every night. Instead of apologizing for the quality of their product and seeing if there was any way to help, I was questioned as to why I did not call earlier (I did but call and left a message for my sales lady, but my call was not returned). I was also questioned why I had not mentioned it when I called for a recliner service a couple months ago (we had tried to improvise with the mattress by removing the removable cushion top to see if that would help. The mattress was bearable for awhile, but then became intolerable without the cushion top as well). Finally, I was told that the guarantee I was given by my sales lady did not apply because I had already returned one mattress (but we specifically confirmed with our sales associate that it would apply a second time). I think the supervisor assumed I was trying to take advantage of the company. I was just trying to get a mattress that was worth the money we were paying for it. I was just trying to problem solve so that I could actually go to bed every night with my significant other beside me. I was so insulted by the tone of voice and the condescending attitude and became irate. I have bought six sofas and three recliners from Frontroom over the course of 10 years. When I purchased my mattress, I also purchased a bedframe, pillows, nightstands and lamps. With the money that I have put into the company, you would think the company would value me as a customer. Even if you cannot help me, show a little bit of empathy for the fact that we have constant pain and are still paying for a bed that we can’t even sleep in together. I was so completely insulted by the treatment I received, after already having to live with a $3000 purchase of a *** mattress!

Buyer beware

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought a sectional from frontroom 7 years ago. After 11 months the "leather" started to peel exposing the cheap cloth underneath. I called and they told me someone would be out to look at it for a $50 fee. It took a couple weeks to schedule and when they finally made it out the year warranty was expired and to fix it would cost $300 !!! I was upset since we paid $1500 for it brand new the year before. What a scam. I will never buy from them again nor will I ever recommend them to family or friends !!!

Waited for 4hours!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We were first on the delivery schedule but waited for 4 hours! My husband called after the 3 hour window they gave us ran out. Supposedly, they showed up but the furniture wasn't on the truck but didn't bother to call to let us know. We should have learned our lesson 8 years prior to this incident when we ordered a Flexsteel sectional. We were working with a salesman that kept disappearing on us to work with other customers. We had to sit and wait for a total of 3 hours. We also bought a large area rug and a coffee table. We thought that was the worst of it, BUT she decided, on her own that the two sectional pieces were switched around and called my husband at work. He didn't have the order or layout and measurements of our lower level with him. He told her to go ahead and change it. He didn't tell me she called and didn't look at the original order when he came home. He thought she knew what she was doing. 3mths later the sectional was delivered. It was difficult to get it down the basement. When the first piece was brought down I knew it was wrong so back on the truck it went. I called the store and she said she changed it. Instead of placing the correct order right away she decided to come to our house to do her own measurements. She couldn't accept the fact she made a mistake and when I called her boss she told him we took a long time to decide what we wanted which was definitley a lie to save her butt and her job. Finally the correct order was placed and after 6 months of a complete nightmare, we got our furniture. After this fiasco, we will never buy from them again. It's a shame too because they have nice furniture.

Why would the recliner break.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
We had just received the furniture. I got in the recliner and started to go in the recline position. It hung up and I pushed back and it snapped. I am not a big guy. 5'7" 180lbs. Matter of fact I believe because I am not a tall person is the reason I had to put more effort in going into the reclining position. The only thing I am having a hard time understanding is. The furniture arrived Feb 28th. I called my sales person right then. The contacted us March 1st. But can't make it out until March 22nd. So I am thinking do they have that many repairs or Replacements they can't make it until the 22nd? If so did I make the wrong decision in going to Front room Furnishings? So what I did read in the reviews about them taking their time is true so far.

Our new Recliner loveseat broke

This is the 3rd description of the recliner loveseat that broke. Summary It broke on March 1st. The first hour of having it. We called Frontroom Furnishings right after it happened. It took 2 weeks for the person to come and look at it. He stated the problem. It broke right where it bolts together in the bolt hole. on Friday 23rd. He said it must have been damaged during the transporting. They did call us on that Monday 26th The Sales manager sent me an e-mail apologizing for the delay in coming out. Front Room Furnishings said it will be 5 to 6 weeks before a new one can be delivered. I e-mailed the Sales manager and asked why is it taking so long. She did send me one back and stated: Since we have bought that it was discontinued. My way of thinking is that it was discontinued when we bought it. And the factory would have to make a new one. So this not finished and it has been a month.

Waiting to see how their warranty is

My wife and I bought a sectional, Lamp and a coffee table. Everything was delivered.

We had take the lamp with us. They forgot one of the parts. However our sales lady shipped it to us. When the furniture arrived all put together looks and feels great.

I go to recline and it hangs up a little. I pushed a little bit and I heard a snap on the right side. It actually broke the right side. I am not a big guy.

5' 7" weigh 180. So I called and talked to my sales lady and she said she would contact the people for repair. The chair broke on Feb 28th and we got a call and a schedule for them to look at it on March 1st. However they can't make it until March 22nd.

Angie our sales person is really on the ball. I will right on the next action.

Front Room Dissapointment

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
After 3 visits from the repair department after only having our new couch only 4 months, I have concluded that I will never buy anything from Front Room Furniture. The quality of the cushions were different than the floor model... Our sales lady who agreed with our complaint dissappeared mysteriously...? Was she fired? We were mis led about the maintenance agreement they told us about to condition the leather... The delivery crew damaged our couch when delivered. The stitching came out on one of the cushions...I think that's enough. Never again

Frontroom Furnishings - Sofa Review from Zanesville, Ohio

Paid a princely sum for a custom order leather sofa sectional from Front Room less than one year ago. My husband sat on the arm of the sectional and it caved in. BTW, he is not overweight in the least. They cited "customer abuse" and would not fix it under warranty. In what world can't you rest for a minute on the arm of your sofa. Really shoddy craftsmanship. Will never purchase anything from them ever again. PS. They fixed it for $86. Thanks.

Not only is frontrooms' furniture of poor quality, so is their mantallty toward their employees.

Frontrooms focus is on profit only, not employee safety, satisfaction, well being; mentally, emotionally, or physically. It is an unstable place of employment due to hostile environment from coworkers threating suicide, to coworkers threating to shoot up the warehouse to harassment and belittling from upper management. They will work you like a slave until you just can't due to exhaustion and or injury and they pride themselves on not allowing any claims from unemployment or workman's compensation. Lets face it drivers and warehouse worker are low entry jobs but hard work. But for one or two favorites in the warehouse there is not a fare playing field for room to grow or advance in pay. Benefits are extremely poor, and unaffordable. Interviewing process is very misleading. So remember when you spend your hard earned money with this company and your furniture is delivered by two under paid men that has been instructed not to take a tip from the customer, the only party that will benefit is the owners and upper management of this company. #exposed

Pillow coming apart at the seams

We brought a sectional couch from Frontroom Furnishing Tri County area Cincinnati Ohio. The pillows on the couch started coming a loose at the seams so we called them to see if they could. They sold us we still have a stain warranty but the manufacturer warranty on the fabric had expired. The person that call said the word "Unfortunately" we cant help you. I was disappointed to hear that they dont stand behind their product regardless of the warranty. The Rep offer to send a person out the my house with a fee. They dont realize I will never use that credit card again and they can go kick rocks!!

Frontroom Furnishings - Sofa Review from Thornville, Ohio

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

On Friday evening, Sept4, 2015 we stopped at FrontroomFurnishings, Polaris. This was third time there in 8 months looking for a leather recliner sofa and chair.

During all three visits we were never approached by a sales person. Each trip we spent 15 - 20 min. In the store. On each visit we toured the whole store and looked at items on the display floor.

On Friday eve. A salesman was sitting at a desk inside the front door staring off in space. We walked in, he said hello, then picked up the telephone and never offered to help. One would think in the competitive furniture market Frontroom would be a little more interested in customer service.

Overall we were not impressed with the quality of the items throughout the store. We are purchasing a sofa and chair at Harvest Furniture in Waldo, OH.

Front room furnishings - warranty is worthless

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought an expensive recliner (Lane) from Front room in Feb 2012. It has a 3 years parts and 1 year labor warranty. 3 years and 2 months later, the recliner basically broke in the main part of the frame. Front room tried to get the part from Lane, but Lane would not honor it because the part is no longer made and we are technically out of warranty. I understand that part, but when I asked Front Room if they could do anything to help me out on a new purchase , they were not willing to do anything. Very disappointed. I will not be going back and I will not purchase any Lane products ever again.

Frontroom Furnishings - Ottoman Review from Upper Arlington, Ohio

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I ordered a full sectional , chase, and ottoman from front room. The furniture is beautiful and made with the best quality. However, it took me over 60 days to receive my furniture when I was promised that special orders only took 40 days to make, ship, and deliver. They promised me a $100 gift card plus a discount on my merchandise. It took me calling the store several times speaking to the manager to receive what they promised me due to my inconvenience. It took almost three weeks to get my discount. It took well over a month to get my gift card... Gotta admit I was very disappointed with the way they conduct business. I love my furniture, and the manager was nice but Personally, I will never do business with them again.
